Here are the results of our first plant crosses.

Flower Dissection

Students created models to explain how you can get a green and yellow squash.

The students all agreed that a yellow and green squash must have mixed in some way.  How did they mix?  So, we are looking at the parts of a flower to try to answer that question.

How can so many food molecules be absorbed at once in the small intestine?  Students are figuring out which shape will absorb more "carrot" juice.
