How does one bone cell work?

This week students have figured out that some organisms are unicellular and some are multicellular.  They figured out that multicellular organisms have specialized cells that have specific shapes to help them do their jobs.  Here are some pictures of the students comparing different types of cells.

Students have figured out that living things are made of cells.  Not everyone is convinced that bones are alive so they decided to break open the bones to find out if they are made of cells.
